FAREWELL ANGELINA SHOW THEIR FESTIVE SPIRIT WITH “GOOD OLE BOY”

Rising female group Farewell Angelina gave Taste of Country a special performance ahead of the Christmas holidays. “Good Ole Boy” is an original song by the female quartet and sees Santa Claus as a country boy. The ladies envisage him as a man near a fishing hole in the North Pole with a red camouflage suit.

They sing of something that they really desire for December 25th; a “Good Ole Boy” under the tree. “Dear Mr. Claus, I’m not asking for toys / I’ll leave the moonshine out, shoot some mistletoe down if you’ll do a little something for me / Wrap a ribbon around a good ole boy and leave him under my tree.

One thing that clearly stands out during the performance is the harmonies between the ladies. The song highlights the great addition of Lisa Torres, who joined the group along with Nicole Witt, Lauren Lucas and Andrea Young. Keep an eye out for Farewell Angelina in 2018.
