blake and gwen christmas

The Christmas season is truly upon us and it is only fitting to have a few country artists give their input into the Festive Spirit. Only a couple of artists have released a full album or Ep such as Alabama and Dylan Scott. Other artists have released one song such as Luke Bryan and Brett Young.

Find out who is spreading the Christmas cheer and listen to the tracks below:

Alabama: American Christmas is the first Christmas album to be released in nearly 21 years. The song features some classic Christmas tracks including "Silent Night" and "Winter Wonderland". It also features a couple of new songs including "(I Wanna) Rock N Roll Guitar" and "Why Can't Christmas Day Last All Year Long" Brett Young is not the first artist to release this song this year, but he certainly gives his own flavour to "O Holy Night". The uplifting Christmas Gospel song suits his rich tones which has waves of passion and sentiment throughout the song. The second artist to release "O Holy Night" is none other than country music favourite Luke Bryan. Bryan takes a traditional route on the song, with his deep Southern vocals bringing a great warmth to the song. The song is a great contrast to the rock 'n' roll "Run, Run, Rudolph" which he performed a couple of years ago. Kelleigh Bannen provides one of the most inventive twists of a Christmas classic with "Deck The Halls". The swampy, fun take on the song finds Bannen adding a funky "Fa La La" to the song as she gets her home ready for the holidays. Bannen is pipped as one of the artists to watch and 2018 will certainly be a year to watch out for more. The pop and country world collide in this duet between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. One of country's hottest couples really compliment one another as Shelton joins Stefani on her new Christmas album. The gushing love story has the pair singing to one another, declaring all the ways that Christmas is made special with the other. Dylan Scott has brought together a collection of five classic Christmas songs to his latest album. Songs including the heart warming "Winter Wonderland", "White Christmas" and "Jingle Bells". His low vocals really suit the warmth behind each song and provide a great source of comfort to the collection. Shania Twain collaborated with pop star Nick Jonas for "Say All You Want For Christmas". The country-pop Christmas ballad blends the best of both worlds as the pair create the romantic feeling in the song.
